:: waste hauler ::
[About the position]
The waste hauler will work Monday through Friday collecting residential garbage, complete special loads & any other job tasks that are requested by management.
((We do have packer (garbage) trucks, but they do not have the arm & require the driver to get out of the truck at each stop))
This is a 40 hour position with the possibility of overtime.
Starting rate: $15/hour
[Qualifications]
•Capable of working independently.
•Problem Solving skills.
•Experience. (Preferred)
•Physically fit. (As you may have to lift heavy cans)
•Oral and written communication skills.
•DOT License (completed upon hiring)
•Working well with others.
•Clean driving & background record
•reliable transportation to get to & from work
•valid KY driver’s license
•good with technology
•quick learner
[Responsibilities and Duties]
•Collect and gather garbage from buildings, businesses, and other facilities.
•Ensure garbage is removed, transported and disposed of according to set policies and procedures.
•Memorizing a route with the assistance of Teleroute. (Tablet routing system)
•Assist in delivering & picking up of various containers to/from customers.
•Lifting, bending & pulling.
•Driving a packer (garbage) truck
•Side jobs; as needed.
•Long hours, including possibly very early or late-evening shifts. (With the rare possibility of Saturdays)
